The future electronic medical record, today

The patient medical record, or better personal health record, is Medictyon HPS’s cornerstone, designed so that each patient has one single medical record in a health establishment environment and even in a multi-centre environment, regardless of its geographic location. With Medictyon HPS, the patient records are mobile, that is, accessible from anywhere where you can connect to Internet and can include all types of multimedia documentation, which either now or in the future, could be relevant to the patient’s health.

A patient’s record include all the medical encounters that patient has with the different departments of one or several health establishments. Each encounter contains the clinical documents produced by the health professionals involved in that encounter.

When several medical encounters are interrelated by a medical criteria, for example, because they all deal with treating the same health problem, all those encounters are included in one healthcare process. Thus a healthcare process is a container of encounters.
