Facilitating change

Doctors accepting the change is a key success factor at the time the electronic medical records are introduced. Medictyon HPS's user interface has been carefully designed to be doctor friendly. In order to achieve this, a large range of professionals from different specialities have offered their expertise and knowledge.

The user interface has been designed following a serious of basic principles, such as:

• offering horizontal navigations (amongst the different patients which are on a certain health professional's work list) and vertical ones (amongst the different sections of a certain patient's medical records), clearly differentiated.
• synoptic vision: maximize the simultaneous visualisation capacity of all the relevant information, especially when the health professional adds new information to medical records.
• chronological and subject views.
• personalising forms, per centre and department, for inputting data
• personalising models, per centre and department, for making reports
