Medictyon PACS is Medictyon HPS’s subsystem which manages medical images, from automatically obtaining the images to distributing them to the visualization stations. It also includes compressing and persistently storing them. A clinical viewer is also included so any doctor can see and process the images. Up till now, these functions were only available in professional radiology diagnosis stations.

Medictyon PACS is capable of automatically obtaining image studies produced by any medical imaging equipment which supports the DICOM protocol, v3.0 or further. This includes almost all digital hardware: radiography, magnetic resonance, computerized tomography, gammagraphies and ultrasounds (digestive, gynaecological, cardio, etc.).

Medictyon PACS can also send images to any image diagnosis station which is DICOM compatible.
