More than a PACS

Medictyon PACS, as part of Medictyon HPS, is much more than a conventional PACS, that is to say, much more than just an image store. This is due to the fact that, in the patient’s record, each image is associated with the care process (or encounter) for which it is requested or produced.

Therefore, all medical images can be analysed in their clinical context, that is, along with the rest of the patient’s relevant data (history, tests, other image analysis, blood tests, etc.)

Of course, if a customer already has a PACS, Medictyon PACS can relate to it to obtain images which it receives. If several PACS exist, distributed in different centres, Medictyon PACS is an ideal solution in order to consolidate them in one centralised repository.
